Since May 2023, Janine Dubiel has been the new laboratory manager of the accredited testing laboratory at the IVAM member Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig. She has extensive experience in plastics testing and will play a key role in the further development of test methods and the introduction of new technologies.
Janine Dubiel is responsible for the accredited testing laboratory and the further development of the plastics testing department. In addition to the range of services, this also includes the management of various research projects in the field of plastics testing and the transfer of knowledge to the relevant companies.
Regarding future developments in plastics testing, Dubiel expressed, "Future plastics testing will be characterized by the use of AI and machine learning, which will enable automated evaluation of test results, increase efficiency and allow even more precise analysis of plastics. The integration of methods to enable the circular economy and efficient use of the material will also make a significant contribution to the advancement of this field."
