The Fraunhofer Institute for Microengineering and Microsystems IMM in Mainz invites to the open house event “ADVANCED IN-PROCESS CONTROL: tailored - affordable - reliable - robust – precise”. The event takes place April 9, 2019. After registration and welcome the participants will see a short presentation of the trendsetting projects of the division Analysis Systems and Sensors. Afterwards they will get an insight into the laboratories where they can experience live demonstrations of fully functional systems for process analysis and life science applications. The  Fraunhofer experts will be happy to discuss/talk about challenges and needs.

Live demonstrations:
  • µ standard addition – online chemical concentration monitor for ions
  • Nanoparticles – inline monitoring devices for nanoparticle characterization
  • Multisensors – NDIR-flow-through-sensor
  • CTCelect – single Cell Isolation within ONE system
  • PanPlex – Microfluidic PCR-platform for fast detection of infection status
  • Sensor network for temperature monitoring – flexible, modular, decentralized data communication
  • Microfluidics – laser welding of polymers
  • Clean room – high-end sensors for research and industry

New product ideas and parameters for the monitoring of equipment in manufacturing, food and beverage safety, bioreactors, engines, medical analysis and diagnostics are presented. The full program and registration option are available at https://www.imm.fraunhofer.de/en/events/open-house-2019.html
