Jointly with Philips Innovation Services the first IVAM TechTalk of 2012 took place at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven on June 13. Roughly 30 participants from research and industry used the opportunity to receive information about newest developments and to network. The TechTalk was coupled to an annual customer event of Philips, which allowed a look behind the scenes. The guests were actively involved by presentations being held at table tops while “a speed-dating” and facility tours through the different development departments. Three companies – namely Saint-Gobain Sekurit Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG,  Medimetrics personalized Drug Delivery B.V. and Cytocentrics BV – which have been working together with Philips for many years, showed their real life samples and presented how they are utilizing Philips Innovation Services’ supporting expertise in their innovation programs. Philippe Letocart from Saint-Gobain Sekurit, for example, presented “Supporting services for new developments in glass coatings”, Klaas Kerkhofs from Medimetrics commented on “MST/MEMS production in an open innovation environment” and Peter van Stiphout from Cytocentrics BV reported about  an “Intelligent pill for oral drug delivery”.
