The digital meeting of the IVAM Medical Technology Focus Group with the main topic "Supply Chain Management for Medical Devices" will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am (CEST).
In the last crises marked months and years, it has become apparent, especially in the medical device industry, that it is not as much a shortage of materials that is problematic, but much more inadequate supply chains.
You can therefore look forward to a presentation by Dr. Meinrad Lugan, Chairman of the BVMed Board and B. Braun Familienholding SE & Co. KG. He will talk about the concept of a Digital Inventory Platform for Supply Critical Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals, which was developed by him, among others, within the BVMed and is already being discussed in national political circles.
If you want to know how the Digital Inventory Platform can help you bridge bottlenecks in your production, you are welcome to attend our event.
Within the discussion session we would like to give you the opportunity for a confidential exchange of experiences about your supply chain difficulties of the last years.
In the second part of the meeting, the further activities of the Focus Group will be coordinated.
The necessary dial-in data for our video conference will be sent out shortly before the event!
Participation in IVAM Focus group meetings is free of charge for association members. Non-members may attend three times. In this case, we charge an administrative fee of € 50.00 (plus VAT), which is also due in case of non-participation. Of course, it is possible to nominate a substitute participant at any time and without additional costs.
