The EU is now calling for AI training! Are you prepared?

When the current stage of the EU “AI Act” comes into force, all companies that develop, operate or use artificial intelligence must ensure that their employees have the necessary AI skills. This includes technical understanding, legal and ethical principles and an awareness of risks. The responsibility lies with the employer - regardless of the size of the company. The obligation already applies to the use of AI-supported language models, translation tools or design software.

The EU law requires employers to train their employees, otherwise they face penalties of up to 7% of annual turnover or a maximum of 35 million euros.

Only 20% of companies have already established comprehensive training measures for their teams. Is your company one of the remaining 80% that need to take urgent action now? The EU does not impose strict requirements on the form of training - but it does expect training to take place and to be verifiable.

IVAM offers a 4-hour online compact training course

In order to offer you a quick and effective solution, IVAM is organizing a practical 4-hour online compact training course. This training provides the relevant content to meet the legal requirements and prepare your company for the new regulations. At the end of the training, all participants undergo a knowledge assessment and receive a certificate as proof.

The training is led by lawyer Dr. Sebastian Tegethoff , Senior Partner at Fortmann Tegethoff Patent- & Rechtsanwälte, expert in IP portfolios and legal AI aspects, and Prof. Dr. Uwe Kleinkes, Professor of Technology Marketing at Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences, specialist in AI and competitiveness in SMEs.
