Microfluidic technologies are very diverse and applied in various fields, including chemical microreactors for production, bioanalytical labs-on-a-chip, micro pumps and inkjet print heads. Over all, there are common problems that will be addressed in the new IVAM Focus Group.

The IVAM Focus Group Microfluidics serves as a platform to exchange ideas, discuss the latest trends or develop common positions and papers, e.g. on standardization issues. These issues are of course interesting not only for IVAM members. For this reason, non-members are invited to participate in the group meetings. We are happy about every active participant.

The second meeting of the IVAM Focus Group Microfluidics was held on June 16, 2014 in Enschede, the Netherlands. It was hosted by the company LioniX BV.
