CMEF in Shanghai: IVAM supports suppliers in one of the world's most important sales markets for medical technology

The China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) is regarded as the largest medical technology show in China and as the leading trade platform for medical technology in the Asia-Pacific region. From May 14 to 17, 2019, the exhibition takes place in Shanghai. For the first time, the IVAM Microtechnology Network organizes a joint pavilion for international medical device suppliers at CMEF 2019 and thereby opens up the opportunity for high-tech companies to step into the advanced and emerging Chinese medical market.
 
Each year, CMEF brings together around 4,200 medical device manufacturers from over 28 countries and approximately 120,000 visitors and buyers from over 100 countries for trading and exchange. CMEF is the largest professional trading platform for the medical industry in China and an ideal starting point to evaluate the international market and research landscape.

Focal points of CMEF are, for example, medical devices for medical imaging, such as X-ray, ultrasound or nuclear medicine, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), laboratory equipment and surgical and emergency equipment. The exhibitors also showcase electro medical devices, optical medical equipment, products for medical IT as well as rehabilitation and medical care needs. Also e-health solutions and wearables, such as new apps and innovative portable medical devices, are shown on-site.
 
The IVAM joint pavilion will be located in the component hall directly on the border to the international hall. Companies that decide to participate in the joint pavilion will receive a presentation slot at the accompanying forum and benefit from extensive service and networking activities such as a guided hospital tour, a preparatory workshop and interpreter services.
